About Us - Our Goal

Celebrating 22 years of loving and breeding the Paso Fino Horse

The first parcel of land was purchased in 1988 and we began breeding Paso Fino Horses, albeit on a very small scale as there were no homes, buildings, barns, water wells, etc.  The initial house, now referred to as the Ranch House, and four stalls were erected; and of uppermost importance we had electricity and a well. As we acquired more land, built bigger and better facilities, ranching became a full time operation.  Impacto III (an imported stallion from Colombia owned by Fabio Ochoa) was purchased in 1992. Impacto III’s linage is from the Resorte III bloodlines. When the offspring of Impacto III became available for sale, the ranch finally turned a profit.

As for the future of the ranch and our breeding program, in 2000 we went to Colombia and purchased Quien Lo Ve del Ocho (barn name MOZART) to breed to our Impacto mares.  Mozart is a son of the renowned Amadeus.  While in Colombia we were told that “Amadeus is to South America as Capachino is to North America.”

We have been promoting the Paso Fino Horse here in Texas thru the ranch sponsored drill team, TexCelentes, group tours, clinics and parties, parades, and demonstrations.
